Studying at WM gave me many valuable lessons and equipped me with experience that I would not necessarily get if I studied at another university. Academically, the quality of WM's education is unquestionable. In addition, my soft skills have developed a lot through non-academic activities at WM through Student Organizations. From these two aspects, I was able to become more prominent in terms of educational background, thus facilitating my efforts in finding a job.

It is a matter of pride to be able to study at Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, many life lessons are obtained, in accordance with the motto "Non Scholae Sed Vitae Discimus", "We Learn Not Only for Science, but for Life", very useful to prepare ourselves to be able to adapt in the world of work

Feeling blessed is one of the parts of UKWMS Applied Accounting alumni, here I get provisions that praise God is enough to enter the world of work, a strong accounting foundation and qualified soft skills. The benefits are: The campus is known, and its alumni are spread everywhere, as evidenced by the fact that before graduation they can be accepted to work in 2 well-known foreign accounting firms in Indonesia. I can be what I am today thanks to my study at S1 Accounting Study Program in UKWMS. During my study, I have learnt not only hard skill (auditing, accounting and tax), but also soft skill, such as teamwork, agility, leadership and communication skill, which are very essential and relevant to the current condition. The teachers and the learning environment are very supportive toward my goals. They help me to achieve my career and make me think broader, as at that time, I never thought to apply to PwC Indonesia, one of the Big 4 Public Accounting Firm.

My name is Stanley Gavino, and I’m a proud alumnus from the International Business Management program class of 2018. Looking back on my time at Widya Mandala, I’m filled with gratitude for the enriching experience it provided. The international experiences on campus were truly invaluable. Being surrounded by students from diverse backgrounds and constantly training our English communication skills built incredible confidence – a skill that proved instrumental during my Master’s studies in Belgium. But studying at Widya Mandala wasn’t just about academics. We had a fantastic balance between studying hard and enjoying meaningful connections with friends and lecturers. The outside-campus activities offered a great way to bond outside the classroom, creating lasting memories that I still cherish today. I’m incredibly grateful for the time spent there and the friendships I made.

While studying at the Faculty of Business, Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, I participated in various activities such as accounting and organizational competitions. The Accounting Study Program fully supports my competition activities from the preparation stage to the implementation of the competition. This activity improved my academic abilities and my soft skills. In addition to the activities during my studies, the lessons in the Accounting Study Program are very useful and relevant for me in the world of work.
