In 1983, Adjunct Accountant ceased to operate and then in the 1985\/1986 academic year opened a new Department, namely the Department of Accounting for the Bachelor of Accounting (S-1) Program, through the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 071\/O\/1985 concerning the Adjustment of Pathways, Levels and Educational Programs and the Rearrangement of the Name of the Department\/Study Program Unit of Recognized Status in Private Universities in the Environment<\/p>\n
Accreditation A (Very Good)<\/strong> was obtained by the S1 Accounting Study Program with the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education No. 045\/BAN-PT\/AK-VIII\/S1\/X\/2004, dated October 26, 2004. Where again maintaining Accreditation A (Very Good)<\/strong> based on BAN-PT Decree No. 006\/BAN-PT\/Ak-XIII\/S1\/VI\/2010 and maintaining it again in 2015 based on BAN-PT Decree No. 990\/SK\/BAN-PT\/Akred\/S\/IX\/2015. In 2020, Accreditation<\/strong> A<\/strong> (which is equivalent to Excellent<\/strong>) of the S1 Accounting Study Program has been extended and this accreditation is valid until September 12, 2025. In 2021, the S1 Accounting Study Program obtained SUPERIOR Accreditation based on the BAN-PT decision No. 9835\/SK\/BAN-PT\/AK-ISK\/S\/VII\/2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2010, at the age of 45 on September 1, the Faculty of Economics of Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya was transformed into the Faculty of Business to answer the challenges of today's stakeholder needs. In 2011, the Department of Management developed a program Internatio<\/em><\/strong>n<\/em><\/strong>al Business Management<\/em><\/strong> (IBM) with Specialization Supply Chain Management<\/em> which first began accepting students in the 2012\/2013 academic year as the first international program in the Faculty of Business. In 2019, the program International Business Accounting<\/em> <\/strong>(IBAcc) began accepting students to prepare accounting students to compete globally in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and hone international insights and accounting competencies to be able to compete, both with domestic and foreign accountants. This IBAcc program is an independent program under the coordination of the S1 Accounting Study Program. In 2019 also, to answer the needs of the business world and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which requires graduates with the ability to master technology. In 2023 the Accounting study program began accepting students for the IBAcc program. Digital Accounting<\/strong> (DAcc) dan Program Accounting and Taxation <\/strong>(ATAX), this is to answer the needs of the digital industry for a reliable accountant who understands digital technology and the need for dynamic tax developments so that a reliable accountant is needed for taxation.<\/p>\n In the 2019\/2020 academic year, Widya Mandala Catholic University of Madiun officially joined Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya so that now Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya has the Surabaya City Campus and the Madiun City Campus. Based on the Decree of the Board of Trustees of the Widya Mandala Foundation Surabaya No. 064\/YWMS\/SK\/III\/2020, dated March 19, 2020, regarding the Clustering of Study Programs at the Madiun City Campus into the Study Program Management Unit (Faculty) within the Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya, the S1 Management Study Program and the S1 Accounting Study Program in the city of Madiun are also managed by the Faculty of Business, UKWMS Surabaya City Campus.
