Accreditation A (Very Goodobtained the Management Study Program with the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 019/BAN-PT/Ak-VII/S1/VIII/2003, dated August 20, 2003. Accreditation A (Baik sekali) was again obtained based on the Decree of BAN PT No.003/BAN-PT/AK-SURV-I/S1/V/2009. In 2013 the Department of Management was able to maintain Accreditation A with Decree No. 227/BAN-PT/Ak-XVI/S/XI/2013, dated November 9, 2013. In 2018, dated October 2, 2018, it can maintain Accreditation A with a score of 369 through the BAN-PT Decree No.2728/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/X/2018 which is valid until October 2, 2023. On July 13, 2021, the Management Study Program obtained Superior status through SK BAN PT No. 9398/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/S/VII/2021. Dated November 17, 2023, it maintains Superior Accreditation based on LAMEMBA Decree No. 875/DE/A.5/AR.10/XI/2023 which is valid until November 17, 2028. Excellent Status is the highest achievement in Indonesia's national accreditation. The Management Study Program also obtained certification ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) dated August 1, 2022 and valid until July 31, 2027 with certificate number AP880UKWMSJUN22 where this certification is an assessment which is a quality assurance of study programs at the ASEAN level.

In 2010, at the age of 45 on September 1, the Faculty of Economics of Widya Mandala Catholic University Surabaya was transformed into the Faculty of Business to answer the challenges of stakeholder needsStake Holdernowadays. In 2011, the Department of Management developed a program International Business Management (IBM) with specialization on Supply Chain Management which began to accept students for the first time in the 2012/2013 academic year. In 2019, to answer the needs of the business world and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which requires graduates with the ability to master technology, the Digital Business Management (DBM) officially accepts students for the first time. Both the IBM and DBM programs are independent programs in the Management Study Program. The establishment of these two new programs is based on the Decree of the Board of Trustees of the Widya Mandala Surabaya Foundation No. 149/YWMS/SK/VII/2018 on July 26, 2018. In 2023, the management study program will begin accepting students for the program Service and Event Management (SEM) This is to answer the need for reliable professionals in the field of service marketers and event organizers that are urgently needed in the city of Surabaya as the second largest city in Indonesia, which has many hotels, malls, restaurants, offices and several large venues to hold events.

Pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020, Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Madiun resmi bergabung ke Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya sehingga sekarang Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya ada Kampus Kota Surabaya dan Kampus Kota Madiun. Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Dewan Pengurus Yayasan Widya Mandala Surabaya No. 064/YWMS/SK/III/2020, tanggal 19 Maret 2020, tentang Klasterisasi Program Studi di Kampus Kota Madiun ke dalam Unit Pengelola Program Studi (Fakultas) di Lingkungan Universitas Katolik Widya Mandala Surabaya, maka Program Studi Manajemen S1 dan Program Studi Akuntansi S1 yang ada di kota Madiun juga dikelola oleh Fakultas Bisnis UKWMS Kampus Kota Surabaya. Kurikulum yang berjalan pada program studi yang berada di Kampus Kota Madiun, yang selanjutnya disebut Program Studi di luar Kampus Utama (PSDKU), sama dengan kurikulum yang ditetapkan di Kampus Kota Surabaya.

 After 4 years of work, graduates of the S1 - Management study program:

  1. As a manager who is able to carry out management functions and organizational functions using technology at the operational level in various types of organizations in the national and international scope based on the values of Caring, Commitment and Enthusiasm.
  2. As an analyst or novice researcher who is able to conduct theoretical and empirical studies in the field of management based on scientific methods and provide practical advice for various organizations within the national and international scope.
  3. As an entrepreneur who is able to design small and medium scale business models according to proper management governance and has social and environmental concerns.
  4. A reflective, creative, and willing individual with a desire for continuous self-improvement.

Expected Learning Outcome

  1. Able to formulate management functions (planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling and evaluating) at the operational level in various organizations at the national and international scope (knowledge)
